It seems the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein files is hitting closer and closer to home for Donald Trump. According to reports, Trump’s attacks on Greene have resulted in death threats being sent to the controversial politician in Georgia.
The Lowdown
In Washington this week the ongoing feud between Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene and that of Donald Trump exploded to new heights. In essence, the feud began after Marjorie diverged from Trump on a number of issues including that of the Jeffrey Epstein files which Trump adamantly does not want released.
Epstein re-entered the chat after emails were released this week that appeared to suggest Donald Trump has not been honest about his relationship or overall association with Epstein. In some of those emails which appear to be part of the reason Green has turned on him — Epstein declared that Trump knew about the girls.
In a post on X, Greene had a bit to say on the matter including that “a hotbed of threats against me is being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world, the man I supported and helped get elected”.
It is the latest example of Trump supportera and Trump himself quickly turning on their own supporters the moment something is said that Trump does not agree with. Trump previously ran on releasing the Epstein files and consistently since then has done everything to prevent their publication.
