But such a deal would fly in the face of promises made by Benjamin Netanyahu. According to reports, Hamas has made a ceasefire offer in hopes Jerusalem willl respond.

The Lowdown

According to reports,  militant group Hamas has made a new ceasefire offer to Jerusalem in an effort to end the war. The group according to the Times of Israel has offered to release all 59 remaining hostagges only if Israel withdraws from the Gaza strip entirely.

Netanyahu has previously vowed that no such indefinite ceasefire will be implemented until the militant group is ‘good and gone.’
