Horizon Organic which is sold in many stores has voluntarily recalled its whole milk over spoilage concerns. More than 19k cartons have been recalled.
The Lowdown
According to the company, the company’s 7 oz cartons of Horizon Organic whole milk sold in Nevada, California, and Arizona have all been recalled.
Consumption of spoiled milk can have numerous consequences including diarrhea, upset stomach, and vomiting. In some cases, especially those with pre-existing conditions, such consequences can prove deadly.
The items affected are: (UPC); 3663207113 and 366320712. The expiration dates per the FDA are listed as March 3, 4, 6, and 7, 2025.
