Amanda Knox is to learn her fate today on a libel charge in Italy in relation to allegations that she lied about a Congolese bar owner following the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher.

Amanda Knox’s last effort to have a libel charge in Italy is today. According to reports, Italy’s highest court is to decide on whether a libel charge from 2007 will stand. With that charge, Knox is accused of lying about a supposed connection between a Congolese bar owner Patrick Lumbumba and the murder of Meredith.
Last year, an Italian appeals court gave Knox a three year prison sentence over the case.
