Trump admin overturns decade old policy that meant ICE agents couldn’t arrest people in ‘safe places’

A new rule from the Trump Administration should be a warning for all immigrants and migrants. According to the rule, Trump has ordered ICE agents to begin arresting people who are otherwise holed up in ‘safe’ spaces.

The Lowdown

Safe spaces, as previously prescribed by the government, included schools, hospitals, and churches. The Guardian reports that the Trump administration claims ‘criminals’ of all sorts are hiding in these spaces, though that claim may not be entirely honest.
