Europe really doesn’t like Elon Musk

Accusing the world’s richest man of deliberately interfering in European democratic processes. France’s Emmanuel Macron is the latest leader in the chorus of critics against Musk.

The Lowdown

Elon Musk may be well-liked in America among some demographics, but in Europe, the criticism and number of critics against Musk are growing rapidly. According to The Guardian, French President Emmanuel Macron is the latest European leader to accuse Musk of ‘deliberately’ interfering in national politics.

The concerns over Musk’s interference(s) in politics in numerous countries have many concerned about the potential appearance of ulterior motives. Musk specifically appears to be promoting extreme far-right parties and policies around the world ruffling feathers along the way. In Germany specifically, Musk promoted the AfD party which historically and very publicly has its own Nazi ties.
