With just eight days to go before Venezuelan dictator, Nicholas Maduro is now bribing the nation with a $100,000 reward to turn over the location of opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez.

The Lowdown

Days ahead of the beginning of the third term of socialist dictator Nicholas Maduro government officials are ramping up efforts to prosecute government opposition figures. According to reports, the regime has announced a $100k reward in a further clamp down on human rights; freedoms, and dying rights in the South American country.

The announcement came from the Maduro-friendly Scientific, Criminal, and Forensic Investigations Agency in an Instagram post. Oddly framed like a ‘Wanted’ poster, it comes as Maduro continues to deny allegations that he rigged the most recent Presidential election. As it stands, Maduro has still failed to provide proof that he actually won the election.
