With a new year comes a new legislative session in some places. In some of those places, the breakneck speed with which government officials are moving to control the bodies of adult women mustn’t go unnoticed.

The Lowdown

The Guardian reports that a slew of new bills proposed for 2025 are bills that every American should be aware of. Some of these bills include the words ‘abortion trafficking’ ‘the free flow of information’ and other buzzwords that government officials are actively using to control the lives of adult women. But it does in fact get worse.

In one of the bills, particularly in TX, the law would go beyond most laws banning the flow of abortion related information; make it unlawful to host a website with abortion being the subject, and it would go as far as to require internet service providers to block access Aid Access, Plan C, and others all of which provide information for women about how to access abortion services.
