Unfortunate news in Afghanistan today. According to reports, even more restrictions have now been placed on women in the country — a demographic that has all but been wiped from society.

The Lowdown

Afghanistan’s ruling terrorist government has informally announced a series of new restrictions on women in the country. The new restrictions are on top of those already in place that have made women and girls slaves to men across the nation.

This time the Taliban announced that women aren’t allowed to recite Koranic verses in front of another woman. The bizarre edict is just another example of males abusing their power.

The AP notes that the announcement was made in the Logar province on Sunday, by Vice and Virtue Minister Khalid Hanafi. A woman also isn’t allowed to perform the call to pray or to sing loudly.

AP also notes that the terroist regime has sent up ‘national campaigns’ otherwise known as propaganda efforts to further push their restrictions onto women.
