Disgraced politician and former lawyer Rudy Giuliani may soon find himself in even worse trouble. According to reports, the judge presiding over his bankruptcy case is threatening to throw it out.

The Lowdown

Giuliani’s hopes of leaning on bankruptcy protections are slimming. In a case marred by allegations of lying and hiding assets, Huff Post reports that it may be thrown out entirely but he would still be on the hook for his massive debts.

His creditors, however, would be free to seek other avenues to collect on their debts. This is in relation to the $148m defamation ruling against him that was handed down earlier this year.
