Amid reports that Biden ‘s re-election campaign may be coming to an end, VP Harris appears to be prepping her image for a potential return. A new poll out today according to USA TODAY has Harri neck and neck with Trump should she be chosen to run if Biden steps aside.   Harris has been making a number of appearances including at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

5. Millions of people in Texas are without power following Hurricane Beryl slamming the area.
According to CNN, millions throughout Texas are without power today following Hurricane Beryl coming down on the area.   TX officials and the local power company have stated it may take days to restore power due to the damage and heavy rain that followed in certain areas.
