For the first time in decades a Reformist candidate has won Iran’s presidential election

Big news in Iran as the country has a new President. According to the official election results, Masoud Pezeshkian won the vote although faces quite an uphill battle.

Iran has a new President and the work is cut out for him. According to reports, Mr Pezeshkian won the vote although faces a stiff battle with the country’s theocratic and terrifying rulers.

The vote comes after the previous President Ebrahim Raisi also known as (one of many) the Butcher of Iran died in May due to a helicopter crash.
