Stunning news tonight according to reports. According to reports, ex-chancellors are out with new claims about the so-called financial straits of Universities throughout the region.

The Lowdown

According to a report by the Guardian, some ex-chancellors are sounding the alarm that Universities may have to either raise tuition prices or seek further funding to stay afloat. Some estimates put that price hike at more than £2000 or more a calendar year. Some ex-officials claim that without the hikes or further funding some or several Universities may go bankrupt.

The rises of course would be political suicide and nearly if not impossible at present.
