In wake of Jonathan Diller’s murder, the Mayor’s office has announced that four brand NYPD classes are set to hit the streets of New York City through November.

The Lowdown

According to reports, the move has long been in the works though funding became an issue after pols sparred over how to fund the NYPD despite its humungous budget. Initially, the recruits were to be pushed back until 25′ though due to better-than-expected revenue projections that a number of other city-cuts were suspended earlier this month.
