Critics far and wide continue to pounce on Gov Hochul this weekend. Following the announcement earlier this week about said deployment, things have gotten quite sticky in the Big Apple.

Hochul’s announcement almost immediately sparked backlash with many including lawmakers comparing the announcement to a war zone. Albany announced earlier this week that 750 heavily armed National Guard members would be deployed into the New York City subway system.

“My No. 1 priority as the governor of the state of New York is to keep people safe,” Hochul commented in an interview with PIX11 “Morning News.”
