Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to receive extra security whenever visiting New York City following their previously reported ‘scary’ chase with the paparazzi. According to reports, a letter by the NYPD has found sufficient evidence for such to occur.

The Lowdown

According to NBC New York, the NYPD has determined that following the 23′ car chase that occurred in Manhattan involving the Duke; Meghan, and numerous photographers additional NYPD resources will be afforded to the couple going forth during visits. Paparazzi infamously chased the couple after leaving a gala during May of that year, but cops later determined that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to charge anyone. Despite such, the NYPD at the time determined that the paparazzi acted recklessly, triggering additional protections for the couple.
