There’s betrayal and then there’s next level betrayal. A TX wife is experiencing the third worst kind of betrayal after her husband Tyler Loudon, 42, allegedly stole information from her to make profits.

The Lowdown

According to an SEC investigation, Louden has been arrested over the 2023 announcement of BP’s buyout of Travel Centres of America. His wife who is not named worked on BP’s mergers and acquisitions team when he allegedly listened in on her phone calls to steal confidential company information.

“We allege that Mr. Loudon took advantage of his remote working conditions and his wife’s trust to profit from information he knew was confidential,” Eric Werner, Regional Director of the SEC’s Fort Worth Regional Office, said last week. “The SEC remains committed to prosecuting such malfeasance.”
