In a historic move, the state Supreme Court of Colorado has ruled Donald J. Trump ineligible to be on the state’s GOP primary ballot over his unlawful actions and incitement of violence that helped lead to the events of 6 January 2021.

This is the first time in history that section 3 of the 14th amendment has ever been applied against a former President or someone running for the White House.

According to the AP, Trump ‘s legal team plans to appeal to the Supreme Court who holds the very idea of American democracy in their hands with this sole decision.
