Militant group Hamas and the government of Israel come to the plate in an effort to secure a deal to release the innocent hostages held by the group. The deal will not reportedly include a ‘total cease’ fire however new details about the deal are actually emerging.

CNN reports that some portions of the deal include up to 3 Palestinian prisoners released per Israeli hostage released(up to 50); no full cease fire, a possible 4-5 day pause in the fighting, and staggered aid being allowed into the area. The deal of course comes amid growing international condemnation over the sheer number of Palestinian people that have lost their lives due to the war.
