A sad tale in East Flatbush this weekend. According to reports, a 67-year-old woman was found dead in a box believed to have been killed by her own son. Cops announced the arrest of David Drummond after a social worker discovered the body of Shirley Awer, 67, in her apartment. The remains were discovered in a box by shortly after 1pm yesterday.
Ongoing investigations this week following a grisly discovery in Flatbush. The NYPD announced this weekend the arrest of a man named David Drummond for the death of his mother Shirley Awer in their Rogers Avenue apartment in the area. Cops say that Drummond admitted to striking his mother and suffers from schizophrenia.
Awer ‘s exact cause of death remains under investigation.
