As the war in Israel and Gaza rages on, humanitarian relief has been approved to go into the area. Israel ‘s relief blockade appears to at last finally be partially lifted after discussions with the United States and other allies involved in wartime discussions.

Joe Biden ‘s trip to Israel has turned up a new concession from Israel. According to the AP, Israel has now agreed to begin allowing aid to flow into Gaza but only from Egypt. Israel has stipulated that the aid should not go to Hamas militants and only to civilians who are in need.

AP also notes that Israel only determined to allow the aid through so long as each shipment is inspected when it goes through the Egyptian crossing. It comes as the U.S has promised $100m in aid to Gaza and the West Bank.
