A pair of American tourists in Paris have found themselves in hot water after authorities say they were discovered sleeping behind the barrier inside the Eiffel Tower.
Police in Paris are investigating after a pair of American tourists were reportedly found sleeping in authorized-access-only areas of the Eiffel Tower. According to prosecutors, the two were apparently partying hard in the French capital and had gotten stuck because they were too drunk to go anywhere. Sete the publicly owned company behind the Eiffel Tower per The Guardian will seek to file a formal criminal complaint.
