‘Dale Gibble’ is dead at least in the real world. According to authorities, Johnny Hardwick was found dead in his Austin TX home over weekend though no foul play is suspected.
Hardwick was reportedly found dead during an urgent welfare check.
“Johnny Hardwick was an incredibly beloved member of the ‘King of the Hill’ family, whose tremendous talent, brilliant humor and friendship will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to work with him over the past 25 years,” reads a statement from 20th Animation Television & Hulu provided to media. “His voice gave life to one of our most iconic characters, and he will be truly missed.”
