The United States vs Donald J Trump is finally underway (once more) and Donald Trump is already trying to Donald Trump his way out of a judge who is doing her job.
According to reports, Donald Trump ‘s team is now claiming that the judge presiding over his J6 criminal trial ‘would not provide a fair trial’ but offered no evidence to back up such a claim.
Trump’s team nor Trump have made similar claims about Aileen Cannon, the Trump-appointed judge on the other end of Trump’s own legal issues that continue to grow almost weekly.
His defence team feels that Chutkan can’t be ‘impartial’ in the already polarized case.
On his failed social media site, Trump made the startling claims further lending credence to claims that he is trying to personally interfere in the criminal proceedings against him.
“THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE JUDGE ‘ASSIGNED’ TO THE RIDICULOUS FREEDOM OF SPEECH/FAIR ELECTIONS CASE,” he whined online. “EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS, AND SO DOES SHE!”
“WE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR RECUSAL OF THIS JUDGE ON VERY POWERFUL GROUNDS, AND LIKEWISE FOR VENUE CHANGE, OUT IF D.C.,” he concluded.
