Cops in DC are now under scrutinization after it emerged this week that one of their own has been arrested.
According to reports, Lieutenant Shane Lamond has been charged with obstruction of Justice and collecting making false statements to authorities.
The false statements in particular stem from comments he made to cops about his relationship with Enrique Torrio. Cops allege that he on a number of occasions abused his power to gain access to police investigations into the group and then would turn over that information to the terror group.
It is not immediately clear who will represent the man in court.
