An American couple has been kidnapped in Haiti as authorities race to locate missing Florida couple

According to CNN, a joint international effort to locate an American couple in Haiti is underway. Reports indicate that the Toussaint’s a couple from Florida were kidnapped from a bus depot on 18 March after being forced off of the bus. It is unclear where they are at this time as their hostage takers faailed to free them after an initial ransom demand of $6,000. CNN notes that their kidnappers are now demanding more money.
