As authorities race to determine the who; the what, and the why. According to authorities in Tacoma Washington, a series of break-ins at power substations in and around Tacoma Washington left some 14,000 people without power over the weekend.

Authorities have suspicions that the vandals may be connected to the other such vandalisms that occurred along the East Coast earlier on last month.

Nothing was stolen from the facilities in Tacoma; Puyallup or Graham but the power was intentionally shuttered. It comes once again following a warning from the Department of Homeland Security that extremists are targeting critical infrastructure throughout the country.
