Elon Musk’s new vision for Twitter is here and it already looks to be quite the nightmare. According to reports out Monday, Twitter may soon start charging upwards of $20 a month for user’s to remain verified.
On Sunday, Musk admitted that ‘the whole verification process is being revamped right now’.
The plan quickly garnered backlash considering Twitter’s paid plan actually costs about $4.99 in itself rather than $20. Twitter Blue first launched in 2021 and was a minor hit at the time.
Right now, Twitter only had a limited number of features for its subscription. Among them are the abilities to undo and edit tweets.
