Italy officially has a new right-wing government which means Italians can expect a dramatic shift in local life. On Friday, Meloni the first woman to hold the premiership was formally sworn into office as the first right-wing leader since World War II.
It is anybody’s guess as to what direction she is expected to take the country though she has often been described as the female version of a burgeoning Trump. According to the AP, she has formally been asked to form a new government and is expected to rule with an even further right coalition party.
