Queen Margrethe of Denmark certainly has had an interesting few weeks. B.T reports that the Queen and Prince Joachim have privately been meeting to work through ‘difficult revelations and times amid reports that his children have been stripped of their royal titles. The same magazine was also the first to report of the alleged love-triangle involving his sister-in-law Princess Mary.
A second magazine report in Spain has since claimed that the entire reason for the rift and the stripping of titles is actually because of his interest in is sister according to sources close to the palace.
The palace told B.T: ‘The Queen and Prince Joachim have spoken together at Fredensborg. Everyone agrees to look forward, and as the Queen herself has expressed, she and Prince Joachim want calm to find their way through this situation.’
