Good happy Monday everyone we’re kicking off Monday by bringing you a guide that many of you have asked for. Right now the cost of things including internet service is skyrocketing. That is where the new Affordable Connectivity Program actually comes into play. Provided by the U.S government in partnership with numerous U.S based internet providers folks can get up to $30 off their service and up to $75 off if you live on qualifying tribal lands.
PRO TIP: We would not advise signing up for Optimum wifi though if it is available in your area. Their terms of conditions are not expressly shared with customers and you take a huge risk of being overbilled.
We took a spin through their website to understand how exactly it works. Folks who don’t have enrollments in common social programs (if your child happens to have one you can also get it that way) you can simply submit income documents otherwise. The ACP official website is located click here.
For the most part most people will be immediately approved. Some common providers that accept ACP are: Verizon Fios among others. Simply provide the application ID to your provider and they can easily look you up.
Our personal suggestion probably has to be Verizon by a longshot. We’d just like to point out no Verizon did not pay us to say that. Click here to go to Verizon ‘s page explaining more and their new discounted offerings.
