American actor Will Smith continues to feel the fallout of his Oscars slap this weekend. According to reports, Netflix has placed Fast and Loose on hold just hours after it was announced that Bad Boys 4 has also temporarily been shelved. Sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that both studios have placed the named projects on ice following what happened at the Oscars. It is unclear when the projects are now to be released. Smith had already received a huge chunk of the reported script prior to this announcement.
In regards to Fast and Loose the slap was only part of the reason it got placed on hold. THR also reports that the director of the film that was hired actually backed out days prior to the Oscars.
