Nepal is making headlines this week amid protests by locals over reported government aid incoming to the country from America. According to reports, the people of Nepal are upset that America has allegedly place unfair requirements if the country chooses to accept a $500m charitable donation to fund electric infrastructure and things like roads in the region.

Growing opposition has come from both sides of the political spectrum, however, the communists have notably been against it from the beginning. American officials have had a tough time ensuring the locals and government officials that the grant money won’t be held over their heads.

As a result, Nepal police have responded with violence and weapons against locals.
