American recording artist Drakeo The Ruler has been killed. According to US media reports, the rapper died this weekend after being stabbed at a Los Angeles musical festival while backstage. It isn’t entirely clear how the assailant got back stage according to police officials and multiple reports.
Drakeo was understood to be preparing to perform for the festival but that did not happen. His publicist Scott Jawson confirmed to CNN the incident.
“I can confirm his passing but am in shock and unable to share any further details at this time. I’ll be releasing a statement from his family as soon as we’re able,” he said.
