Steve Bannon is going to take his gamble at the inevitable trial over his crimes it seems. According to reports, the American conman who tried to help overthrow the United States has pleaded not guilty to criminal contempt of Congress. Bannon is the first person to be held in Contempt of Congress in a very long time, though, he doesn’t appear to understand the seriousness of the claims against him.

In usual Bannon fashion, Bannon maintains that the deep state is working against him but provided no evidence as to indicate what the deep state “actually is.”

In a document submitted to U.S. District Court in Washington D.C., Bannon pleaded not guilty and waived his right to have the charges formally announced at a Thursday hearing
