Wikileaks founder Julian Assange may be granted right to serve US prison sentence in Australia

That’s because it is no secret that the American government prefers torture; waterboarding, and other inhumane prison tactics that other countries often do not actually take part in. ABC Australia reports that the move comes against those worries because London feels like it can’t trust the United States to actually treat Assange like a human and not a CIA waterboarding victim.

Back in January the judge presiding over the case also ruled citing mental health concerns that he could not be extradited to America. In that same ruling, it was also noted the court was concerned that he may kill himself in the Americas over the liklihood of extreme torture.

But ABC also notes that it doesn’t appear that Australia is actually willing to accept the prisoner because they don’t want much to do with it. US assurances are being taken as a load of crap considering they aren’t typically bound by international law.
