Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is back in the news again. Under a new FBI and a new administration, U.S officials are taking a second hard look at the background check that was done that year. That check appears to have been flawed from the start with the FBI now admitting that they received more than 4,500 tips about him.
The New York Times reports that at least two major officials now say that the 5 day investigation was in fact a total sham. Any information that had been gathered on Kavanaugh was actually turned over to the White House so the WH could decide what to do with it — which was often lie about it.
