An extraordinary report out of California today as Naval officials and military personnel are scrambling to find out what happened to a series of explosives out of TwentyNine Palms. The AP reports that sometime in the past two weeks a series of explosives vanished from the base amid training on the sprawling military installation.
The Navy isn’t releasing further details at this time and a major investigation is underway to find the missing explosives.
Thousands of troops are currently on base in training until roughly 18 February.
