Amidst the domestic terror threat against the Capitol today, outgoing U.S President Donald Trump hopped on his Twitter account to instigate the attacks. Shortly after 11:30 am local time, Trump supporters stormed the Capitol area sending the area downtown area into lockdown. Senators; House Members and more remain in lockdown in undisclosed locations throughout the Capitol.
Trump meanwhile is on Twitter with the following tweets adding fuel to the fire against the backdrop of a speech made by McConnell that appears to suggest he is suddenly turning over a new leaf.
It has since emerged that the President is refusing to do little about the situation in D.C but appears to have summoned the National Guard.
