PALMDALE, CALIF — An infamous bust in Palmdale is making headlines this week after it was discovered that an underground party during local COVID lockdowns had a hidden feat. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, er, more than 158 people were arrested at the illegal party along with at least one juvenile sex trafficking victim rescued.

Cops allege that the organsisers of the party broke into a local home without permission and then changed it around to host the party. Acting on a tip, they had reasonable suspicion about the party but were surprised at the discovery of the young woman. The victim is believed to be at least 17 and was the subject of commercial exploitation attempts.

“Had we done the normal approach, break up the party before, the same victim would have been taken to the next location, so this actually rescued her from that,” Villanueva said at a news conference Tuesday. “She would have been passed down to the next party.”
