By now you’ve probably binged The Crown ‘s Season 4 and noticed a strange drinking game they play as a family. Called Ibble-Dibble, the game is similar to that of rhyming or card games played by Americans who are looking to get drunk. The game is widely popular, although, it may not be popular in America (give us credit here we’re not entirely American experts.)

Ibble Dibble usually involves five or more players and uses blackened corks. It is adviseable not to play the game with heavy liquor (chuckles.)

Players must take a cork and burn it until it turns black which will then when used leave black spots on people’s faces. These are called “Dibble Ibbles.” The game begins by the first player using their cork to introduce themselves followed by their number “Ibble Dibble”. e.g. “number three Ibble Dibble”.

The game continues until someone fancies a screw up and ends up having to drink and placing a black mark on their face.
