A Bristol man is facing an assault charge this week after apparently passing gas in an Uber. According to Bristol Live, the man was charged by the Bristol Crown Court with one count of assault after assaulting the cabbie over his protests about said passing gas.

The cases apparently dates back to last year just before the Coronavirus pandemic struck the world. James Mallett, 35, was in an Uber on the way to the club with four pals when uh the instance occurred.

“He behaved in an unattractive manner that night,” defense lawyer Anthony Bignall told the Bristol Crown Court about his client’s behavior.
