China issues new regulations on foreign companies

In wake of the U.S led ban on Tik Tok and We Chat, China is keeping to its promise to retaliate against foreign and American companies in its own rights. According to the ruling Communist Party, foreign apps and transactions will now face increased hurdles and a list of such companies will now be kept by the Chinese government. It remains unclear as to who or what may already be on the list.

The list and move reportedly comes as the U.S heads into its own Chinese-app based ban beginning on Sunday and spanning clear into November. The Trump Administration initially claimed that such was done under purposes of national security, however, most have since realized it is actually politically motivated.
