The information contained in this article is in the interest of the public as it contains information about an active FBI case and a manhunt for college-aged killer. Peter Manfredonia, 23, is wanted for at least one murder; 2 abductions, and a crazed manifesto according to federal police.
On Monday, the FBI confirmed on Twitter the following:
‘The FBI & our law enforcement partners are working to locate Peter Manfredonia, wanted by @CT_STATE_POLICE, whose last known location was in #EastStroudsburg, Monroe County. Manfredonia is considered armed & dangerous.
‘Anyone with info, please call 911 or FBI/215-418-4000 ASAP.’
The crime spree reportedly began Friday in the town of Willington CT. Police were called to a residential area amid reports of a violent assault and grisly murder of which later turned out to be that of a 62-year-old man.
It then transformed into a robbery spree; stealing food, trucks, cars, guns and ammo, and apparent knives. He then fled Willington and moved on to PA, although, it is believed he has killed at least one more somewhere along the way.
