Nintendo America confirmed on Friday that their user-systems had been compromised. According to the gaming network, at least 160k user accounts; e-mails, nicknames, potentially credit card information(s), and more were compromised in the illegal hack.

Some people have already reported fraudulent charges on their Nintendo accounts.
As a result of the hack, Nintendo is disabling login access through NNID which had typically been used for older devices and handhelds. Accounts that were hit might’ve noticed a forced password change.
