Possibly a good thing possibly a bad thing. According to reports, Michael Avenatti has won his battle in New York to temporarily be freed during the pandemic. Reports say that a federal judge agreed with Avenatti ‘s defence team that because he had pneumonia last year, he shouldn’t be in jail during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Drum roll please. Avenatti will now head to Los Angeles thanks to an unidentified friend who put up a massive $1m bond to temporarily free him. While in LA, he will have to wear an ankle bracelet and will be confined to the unidentified friends’ house. Records show that he will not be able to use the internet at any time — and will return to jail in 90 days.

He is to be sentenced in June.
