NYC preparing to tell people to avoid large crowds, cancel bigtime events

As New York prepares to grapple with even more cases of the novel Coronavirus — Bill De Blasio is apparently struggling with thee notion that New York City needs to act fast. According to multiple reports, De Blasio is now being faced with the very real prospect that large events must be cancelled and people must be warned to stay away from large crowds.

Particularly events at places like Madison Square Garden and those events like the Saint Patricks Day Parade — which is all of a few days away. The Post reports that despite numerous recommendations from city officials, De Blasio is refusing to cooperate.
