In the now widely seen stunning announcement — the Prince and the Duchess announced that they’re ghosting the Royal Family in exchange for their own life; their own rules, and to become more of themselves. This is perhaps one of the only times in royal history that two royals have ever almost fully abandoned Buckingham Palace.
The balancing act and their next chapter will almost certainly define the monarch for years to come as the Queen grapples with a significant loss. The queen, per reports, apparently found out about the move from the television rather than from the couple itself. The decision comes after several months of intrusive and very much unlawful reporting on Meghan Markle on herself by much of the British press.
According to the couple’s IG page, the Queen may not have known about the announcement.
Meanwhile reports are emerging that the Queen is furious at the announcement and may be planning drastic measures to prevent it.
