As part of my summer series, I went to my first Soul Summit, right in the heart of downtown Brooklyn my hometown.
From the amount of people to the music and were they playing the tunes. Soul Summit is the ultimate summer event for you to let loose.
In its 15th year it is an afternoon to evening function which is sweaty, sexiness, there is food and drinks, outfits that slay, and most all, dancing with abandon to a non-stop mix of classic house music though the vibes and tunes invite everyone for a little favor of their own.
This is best to go with friends. I went after work and it was nice experience though cut short, my reason was not directly related to the event itself I just could not stomach it.
If you are in Brooklyn next year and are looking for a wild, dance like no ones watching, mix n’ mingle with Brooklynites, while staying hydrated and cool. Soul Summit 2020 should be on your radar.
