Al-Bashir

SUDAN —  SPECTACULAR news in Sudan this week as it is now fully emerging that the Sudanese military has pushed Omar Al-Bashir from power indefinitely. According to local news reports, Al-Bashir was subsequently arrested by state police and military officials in what is being called one of the regions’ most dramatic arrests ever.

Al-Bashir has famously been wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court for nearly a decade.  Sudan’s military confirmed on Twitter that Al-Bashir was “arrested in a safe place” presumably after he had allegedly attempted to flee the country.

The country will now undergo a 2 year period in which Sudan heals from Al-Bashir ‘s monster administration and continues to build a new Sudan.
